Rhys Davies

17 year old Rhys Davies was from the valley town of Tredegar in the South Wales. He was walking down St. Mary Street in Cardiff, returning to the bus station after a shopping trip with one of his friends. It was reported that around 6:40 pm on Friday 13-Feb-09 he was involved in an argument with some other passers by near the Ladbrokes betting shop. He was severely assaulted by these people and was rushed to hospital with massive head injuries, but sadly did not pull through - he died on Saturday 14th Feb. At the time of writing, two individuals were being held on suspicion of murder. . . . . His friends have set up a tribute page on the Bebo social networking site.
